New Books!

This is my first ‘official’ post on my new blog. I don’t really know how these things work but I’ll do my best for the unfortunate souls who come across it.

So I went to the library today. Finally convinced my sweet loving mum to take me. I’ve been itching to get a ton of new books but sadly we got there a little bit before it was about to close. I only had time to pick out two books that caught my attention. Though I was supposed to be getting the books that my groups is reading for this month. But unfortunately, I could find none of them at the library. This is a sad, sad day for Jany Honeycutt.

My whole set up :P

I caught myself babbling, I do this a lot. Anyways, the two books to the left are Dark Song by Gail Giles and Nobody by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. As to which I’ll post the link to both books on goodreads. The book to the right is called Saving CeeCee Honeycutt by Beth Hoffman. Thee irony! I got that book from a book fair because CeeCee’s last name was oddly familiar.

The City of Silver Light (Book 1 of The Bridges Trilogy) Giveaway

City of Light

Goodreads Book Description: On a night of frost and ice, she falls from the sky, the beautiful ice-girl Cari, cast out of her world and into ours.

It’s an unusually cold Winter, but 15 year old Jake is more concerned with  the ice forming in his dad’s new relationship and the fact that the girl he likes is dating his best friend.

And now his elderly neighbour is acting even weirder than usual. Could things get even more confusing?

Then Jake finds Cari, lost and alone. Who is she? What has she got to do  with the sudden frost, and the wondrous silver city that has appeared in the sky? And what does his elderly neighbour, Mrs Henders know about it all?

Jake is determined to find out. But the secrets Cari bears  are more dangerous than Jake can ever imagine. And the fate of our  entire world – and that of the City of Silver Light – now rest in their  hands.
