My Thoughts: The book is about how Danielle tries to cope and come to terms with the death of the five-year old boy she babysits.
To me, this was a very emotional and inspirational book. It was a little bit boring but only because I read more fantasy life or death type books. This book was a new read to me because I usually don’t read realistic books. But for a first, it did not disappoint me. There were times in the book when I almost cried. I would recommend it to females who can be patience with books. I LOVED the ending, though!

Spoilers: So I found an error on page 192, I guess every book can’t be perfect. Or maybe I should stop being such a grammar Nazi :p

When I found out Justin’s parents were the ones who hit little Humphrey I was just like “Oh My Goodness!” I agree with Danielle, he should’ve told her that he knew who she was from the beginning. And you can’t just NOT say anything about the accident and how you played a part in it. I mean Justin played a huge part in it, I would think..

The end of Chapter 45 and all of Chapter 46 was the best I think. I also LOVED the ending, need I say again? I think Danielle needed the call from Mr. Danker to have her let go of what she was feeling. And when she visited Mrs. Danker…I could feel Danielle’s weight lifting off of her shoulders. I was happy that they were letting go together.

How the end turned out. I think that memory was perfect for the end. Though we don’t get to find out if Justin stayed in America or not it was cool. I liked how the author made the book from present to past every other chapter. It took me a couple of chapters to realize that’s what she was doing, though.
