WWW Wednesdays (#3)

WWW Wednesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by Should Be Reading. Anyone can participate! Just do the following:

You just have to answer three questions:

  • What are you currently reading?
  • What were you previously reading?
  • What are you going to read next?

I’m currently reading Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher, I got for finishing a summer reading program. I’m also reading Allegiant by Veronica Roth, with my lover. I’ve been reading this one for forever, though so I’m not sure if it still counts!

Before Thirteen Reasons Why, I actually started to re-read These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman & Meagan Spooner. But before that I read Every Day by David Levithan. That was a pretty good book. Not the greatest but very interesting. Click here for my review.

Honestly, I have no idea what I’m going to read next! I’m always open to suggestions, though!

Leave a comment and tell me what you are reading this week!

Book Humor

I know I haven’t been posting. So to make it up to you guys, here is a little book humor. I came across this on Google earlier while looking for a bookshelf to use for a project I’m working on in my InDesign class. (Yay for college classes!!)

I’m making a magazine. I chose to make a magazine about young adult books! You don’t see those when you’re scanning through the magazine section at the store. And what better way to find out what to read next than subscribing to “Tome Terrene”?? (That’s my magazine’s name) I’ll post a couple pictures when I’m done with the project to show you lovelies how I did!

Onto the book humor! Here’s the image I saw.

It’s a human bookshelf. 🙂 The comments are even funnier:

  1. Top Shelf vs. Gravity??

  2. Richard Davies

Is this shelf available from IKEA? I bet it’s a bugger to put together.

    R

  3. Beth Carswell

haha! Yes, it’s called the Noödie Shelf.

  4. Yes, This is certainly an alarming gadget to have in my collection. Does anyone have aconclusion where I can purchase it? Any guidance?

  5. I’m almost afraid to ask what they’d use as a book stopper…

  6. Beshly says hi. It’s creepy. If I was to wake up every morning to that, I would be disturbed. Very disturbed. Reminds me of the concentration camps…

  7. Richard Davies

What would happen if you placed a hot cup of coffee on this bookshelf?

I hope you guys enjoyed the book humor!

Musing Mondays (#3)

Hello guys and gals!

Here is Musing Mondays made by Should Be Reading

Musing Mondays asks you to muse about one of the following each week…

• Describe one of your reading habits. • Tell us what book(s) you recently bought for yourself or someone else, and why you chose that/those book(s). • What book are you currently desperate to get your hands on? Tell us about it!  • Tell us what you’re reading right now — what you think of it, so far; why you chose it; what you are (or, aren’t) enjoying it. • Do you have a bookish rant? Something about books or reading (or the industry) that gets your ire up? Share it with us! • Instead of the above questions, maybe you just want to ramble on about something else pertaining to books — let’s hear it!

My Musing:

This week I’m just going to list off a couple books I can’t wait to get the money to buy! And some of these might already be on my wish list..

I believe Fangirl is already on my list. It’s just that I’ve been thinking lost more about it since I found out a friend of mine on goodreads read it and ended up rating it 5 stars! So now I really really want it. The Goddess Hunt is the next book in the Goodess Test series I’m reading. And I plan on reading all of the books to the series since I normally don’t do that. And American Girl On Saturn is a book I forgot about a while ago. I just happened to see it and freak out 🙂 I missed the release date, but now that it’s out I plan on getting it!!

So that’s it! I hope you lads and ladies have a good rest of the Monday 🙂

And if any of you guys are curious here my wishlist for an upcoming event of mine, the day after Halloween!  My Birthday Wish List

WWW Wednesdays (#1)

Hey peeps! I have a surprise!!!

I made a video…a vlog? Haha specially for this meme hosted by Should Be Reading. I thought it would be cool to start doing that. Sadly, I was very tired when I made this, and I just wasn’t in my zone. There were a couple times that  I just stopped mid-sentence and my hair was a mess… embarrassing…And I was kind of quiet because everybody was sleeping. But I’m going to post it anyways! My editing sucks but hey! Yolo!? Haha. I’ll do better next week guys, I promise!!

I'm just starting out; leave me a comment or a like :)
