All Our Yesterdays (Cassandra Chronicles #1) Review+ Book Trailer

Goodreads Review:

“You have to kill him.” Imprisoned in the heart of a secret military base, Em has nothing except the voice of the boy in the cell next door and the list of instructions she finds taped inside the drain.

Only Em can complete the final instruction. She’s tried everything to prevent the creation of a time machine that will tear the world apart. She holds the proof: a list she has never seen before, written in her own hand. Each failed attempt in the past has led her to the same terrible present—imprisoned and tortured by a sadistic man called the doctor while war rages outside.

Marina has loved her best friend James since the day he moved next door when they were children. A gorgeous, introverted science prodigy from one of America’s most famous families, James finally seems to be seeing Marina in a new way, too. But on one disastrous night, James’s life crumbles apart, and with it, Marina’s hopes for their future. Now someone is trying to kill him. Marina will protect James, no matter what. Even if it means opening her eyes to a truth so terrible that she may not survive it. At least not as the girl she once was.

All Our Yesterdays is a wrenching, brilliantly plotted story of fierce love, unthinkable sacrifice, and the infinite implications of our every choice

My Rating: 5 out of 5 Stars17451105[1]

My Thoughts: This book caught my attention from the beginning. The cover, the title, and especially the summary. I was instantly drawn in. I was lucky, though. I thought I would have to wait until August 1st to go and buy the book. But I won it from BEA. I got it a couple months before it came out but didn’t really bother to read it.
Now guys, let me tell you. Don’t do what I did. You are missing out! I should’ve read it right when I got it. Now I know that anything with time travel can get difficult to follow if you don’t do it right. This is why I rarely deal with time travel. But Terrill managed to make this book easy to read, she explained the time travel, and she made it fun. Every step of the way you’re wondering what is going to happen next. It’s very well-paced, I kept up with the author and I didn’t get bored.
I was going to rate the book 4 stars. The ending did it for me though. It just gets more interesting as you read it.
I recommend this book to anyone and everyone. It was a fun adventure with Em and Finn. I loved all the characters. Even Marina, she’s that kind of dumb snobby girl. But she turns out to be ok.
So that’s it! Go and read it!! I made a book trailer a couple weeks ago about this book, too. If you want you can also go and check that out.
